Job Overview
The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 will play a key role in supporting Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Planning functions across HSE Mid West Acute Services. The successful candidate will work closely with senior nursing leadership teams to support workforce coordination, operational planning, recruitment initiatives, and service delivery improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Support nursing and midwifery workforce planning activities across HSE Mid West services
- Assist with staffing coordination, workforce analysis, and resource planning initiatives
- Collaborate with nursing management teams to support operational workforce requirements
- Contribute to recruitment planning and retention strategies within acute healthcare services
- Maintain accurate workforce data, reporting, and workforce planning documentation
- Support service improvement projects and workforce development programmes
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, professional standards, and governance frameworks
- Promote effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with active Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) registration
- Previous nursing management or leadership experience within an acute healthcare setting
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in workforce planning, staffing coordination, or service management is desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Salary, Benefits and Working Hours
Salary is aligned with the Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Grade 2119 pay scale within the Health Service Executive. This is a permanent whole-time position offering long-term career progression opportunities within HSE Mid West.
