Job Overview
The Manager for Home Support, Older Persons Community and Voluntary and Day Services will oversee operational and strategic delivery of community healthcare services within HSE West and North West. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Home Support, Older Persons Community and Voluntary and Day Services across the designated region.
- Support the delivery of safe, high-quality, and person-centred healthcare services.
- Provide operational leadership including financial oversight and workforce management.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Monitor service performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, governance standards, and quality frameworks.
- Support strategic planning and service development within Older Persons Services.
- Travel across service locations as required to fulfil operational responsibilities.

- Access to appropriate transport as travel is a requirement of the role.
- Experience within Older Persons Services or community healthcare settings is highly desirable.
Salary, Benefits and Working Hours
Salary will be aligned with the Community Healthcare Network Manager 6011 pay scale within the HSE. The role offers a comprehensive public sector benefits package including annual leave entitlements, pension scheme access, and opportunities for ongoing professional development.
Permanent and specified purpose contracts are available in both whole-time and part-time capacities.
