Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal and practical care to service users in their homes
- Assist clients with mobility, hygiene, dressing, and daily living activities
- Support service users in maintaining independence and dignity
- Follow individual care plans and report changes in service user conditions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with HSE standards
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Promote a safe and caring home environment for service users
- Adhere to all HSE policies, safeguarding procedures, and infection prevention guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant Healthcare Assistant qualification or equivalent healthcare support qualification
- Experience working in a healthcare or community care setting is desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider healthcare team
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable approach to care delivery
- Understanding of safeguarding and infection prevention practices
- Flexibility to travel within the Cavan and Monaghan region
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
