About the Role
Corlann (BOCSI) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Worker to join its Children’s Respite Disability Services team in Ennis, County Clare. This permanent part-time position offers an opportunity to support children and young people with disabilities in a safe, person-centred and nurturing respite environment.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, promoting the wellbeing, independence, development and quality of life of children accessing respite services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality social care support to children and young people with disabilities.
- Promote person-centred practices and individual care plans.
- Support service users in developing life skills, social skills and independence.
- Maintain a safe, caring and inclusive environment.
- Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and other professionals.
- Contribute to safeguarding, health and safety, and quality assurance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
