St. John of God Community Services is recruiting Seasonal Relief Healthcare Assistants to support new residential disability services opening across County Kerry during 2026/2027, as well as its established campus in Beaufort. This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate and motivated healthcare professionals to join an experienced team delivering person-centred care in modern, purpose-built residential settings.
Role Overview
As a Seasonal Relief Healthcare Assistant, you will support adults with intellectual disabilities to achieve greater independence while promoting dignity, inclusion and quality of life. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will help provide high-quality care in residential environments that place each individual at the centre of their support.

Salary
€34,881 – €47,624 per annum (HSE Care Assistant (Disability Services) Grade 6482, 13-point scale, plus Long Service Increment where applicable). Salary is based on the HSE Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 June 2026 and applies in line with Section 38 public sector pay arrangements.
Location
County Kerry, including newly developed residential services opening throughout 2026/2027 and the St. John of God Community Services campus in Beaufort. These services provide modern, high-quality residential support for adults with intellectual disabilities within local communities.
