Role Overview
As a Professional Carer (also known as Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, or Support Worker), you will deliver high-quality care to clients in their own homes across the Sligo Town and Grange areas. Full shadowing support is provided to build your confidence, and the in-house training team will guide you toward an internationally recognised City & Guilds Diploma in Health and Social Care (equivalent to a QQI Level 5 Major Award).

Requirements
- Full Irish driving licence and access to your own vehicle (required)
- Fluent English
- Must be living in the Sligo/Grange area
- Availability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and alternate weekends
- Authorisation to work in Ireland (required)
- Comfortable delivering personal care (washing, toileting, dressing, etc.)
- No previous care experience required — full training provided

Salary

Location
This is a community-based role covering Sligo Town and Grange, County Sligo. Care is delivered in clients’ own homes, so the working day is spent on the road between visits — a full driving licence and your own vehicle are essential, with travel time and mileage paid.
