Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a dedicated Administration Officer for our Cork location in Glanmire. This permanent part-time role offers excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in disability services.
About the Role
As Administration Officer, you’ll provide essential administrative support within our Southern Region team. You’ll manage office operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth day-to-day administrative functions while supporting our mission to enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general office administration and correspondence
- Maintain accurate filing systems and databases
- Process documentation and handle routine inquiries
- Support management with administrative tasks and reporting
- Coordinate meetings and manage schedules
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Provide reception cover and telephone support when required
Essential Requirements
Education: Leaving Certificate or equivalent administrative qualification
Experience: Minimum 2 years administrative experience, preferably in healthcare or social care
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Preferred Requirements
- Previous experience in disability services or healthcare sector
- Knowledge of HSE administrative procedures
- Customer service experience
- Familiarity with database management systems
