Cork University Hospital is recruiting a permanent, full-time Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Children’s Neurology) to join its paediatric neurology service in Wilton, Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ANP to lead specialist care delivery, drive service development, and make a measurable difference in outcomes for children and families across the HSE South West region.
Role Overview
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Children’s Neurology) will function as an autonomous, senior clinical practitioner within the Children’s Neurology service at Cork University Hospital. Operating at the highest level of nursing practice, the post-holder will lead assessment, diagnosis, and management of children presenting with neurological conditions, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.

Salary
€72,843 – €85,485 per annum (HSE Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Children’s) scale, 9-point scale, plus Long Service Increments). Based on HSE Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 June 2026. Pay is subject to relevant deductions. Where the appointee has not been previously employed in the HSE, starting pay will be at the minimum of the scale.
