Cardiac Physiologist – Children’s Health Ireland – Dublin South

Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) in Dublin South is seeking a Basic Grade Cardiac Physiologist to join their diagnostic cardiology team. This is a permanent, whole-time position open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants within the Dublin and South East region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret a range of non-invasive and invasive cardiac investigations.
  • Support consultants and multidisciplinary teams in diagnostic cardiology services.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to quality and safety standards.
  • Contribute to service development within the cardiology department.
  • Provide patient education and collaborate on cardiac research or audits as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • BSc in Clinical Measurement or equivalent qualification in Cardiac Physiology.
  • Eligibility for registration with CORU (or equivalent professional body).
  • Experience in paediatric or hospital-based cardiology desirable.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and patient-centred care.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

  • Grade: Cardiac Physiologist (Code 3867).
  • Contract: Permanent, wholetime.
  • Salary: As per HSE consolidated pay scales effective 1 August 2025 (Basic Grade Cardiac Physiologist range).
