🏥 About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage nursing care in the Day Care Unit, overseeing endoscopy and minor operations.
- Collaborate with Wexford General Hospital’s perioperative services to optimise shared resources.
- Align unit operations with the Scheduled Care Waiting List Plan 2025.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Registration: Active registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years post-registration, with at least 2 years in a relevant speciality (e.g., day care, perioperative or endoscopy nursing).
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability in clinical, managerial, and administrative roles.
- Professional Development: Ongoing commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Suitability: Must exhibit high standards of clinical, managerial, and administrative competency.
