The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Digital Health) for the Dublin North, Cavan, Monaghan, Louth, and Meath region. This role offers an opportunity to lead digital transformation initiatives in healthcare through clinical leadership and information technology integration.
Contract: Specified Purpose, Whole-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage digital health projects across nursing and midwifery services.
- Support implementation of clinical information systems and healthcare applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective change management.
- Deliver training and guidance to clinical staff on digital systems.
- Ensure compliance with governance, data protection, and safety standards.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in clinical digital practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with active NMBI registration.
- Demonstrated experience in IT projects/systems and change management.
- Proven leadership, administrative, and clinical expertise.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in digital health and healthcare technology implementation.
- Project management experience is desirable.
- Must hold a full clean driving licence and have access to own transport.
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet project deadlines.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
According to the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (1 August 2025):
Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Grade 2119) salary range: €61,463 – €77,666 per annum (including LSIs).
