About the Role
Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 to join its Galway City service. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a supportive, person-centred organisation committed to providing high-quality care in the intellectual disability sector.
The successful candidate will manage nursing teams, oversee the delivery of clinical services, and ensure best practices in line with HSE and Brothers of Charity policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and coordinate a multidisciplinary nursing team.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical governance, safety, and quality frameworks.
- Support the implementation of individualised care plans.
- Promote professional development and supervision within the team.
- Liaise effectively with families, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Nurse with An Bord Altranais (NMBI).
- Minimum 5 years post-registration experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Experience working in intellectual disability or similar services is advantageous.
Salary
€61,463–€77,666 per annum (as per Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 August 2025, Grade Code 2119).
Pay dependent on experience and incremental placement.
