Tipperary University Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) to lead and coordinate nursing services in the Gynaecology Ward. This permanent, wholetime post offers an opportunity to join a skilled multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centred care in women’s health.
As a CNM2, you will oversee daily ward operations, manage nursing staff, and ensure the highest standards of clinical governance and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and support nursing teams within the Gynaecology Ward.
- Oversee patient care standards, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with consultants, allied health professionals, and administrative teams.
- Implement evidence-based practices and contribute to service development.
- Manage rostering, resource allocation, and professional development of staff.
- Participate in audits, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.
Essential Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with An Bord Altranais / NMBI.
- Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, including relevant Gynaecology or Surgical nursing experience.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making abilities.

€61,463 – €77,666 per annum (11 points, includes LSI)
