The Health Service Executive (HSE) is recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) for Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan, County Meath. This is a permanent part-time position within the HSE Dublin and North East region. Open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants, this role offers the opportunity to lead high-quality patient care in a busy acute hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and coordinate nursing teams in designated clinical areas.
- Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based and patient-centred nursing care.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to promote continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve service outcomes.
- Participate in audits, quality initiatives and policy development.
- Manage resources efficiently in line with HSE standards and clinical governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Proven leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of HSE clinical governance and patient safety frameworks.
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Grade: Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Code 2119).
- Salary Scale (from 1 August 2025): €61,463 – €77,666 per annum (including LSI).
- Contract Type: Permanent, part-time.
