Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is inviting applications for a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 role in Limerick. This permanent, wholetime post offers an opportunity to lead and coordinate nursing services within a progressive and supportive organisation.

About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2), you will provide leadership and clinical governance across nursing teams, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care in line with best practice standards. Based in the HSE Mid West Region, this role is key to supporting integrated health and social care for service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage nursing staff, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
  • Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development for nursing staff.
  • Manage resources effectively, including staffing and clinical equipment.

Required Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) or equivalent with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ post-registration nursing experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing standards, clinical governance, and patient safety.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Preferred

  • Postgraduate qualification in Nursing Management, Leadership, or related field.
  • Experience in intellectual disability, community, or residential services.
  • Familiarity with HSE and Section 38 service frameworks.
