About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager Ambulatory Care Dublin to join Connolly Hospital’s Ambulatory and Medical Directorate. This permanent part-time position offers the opportunity to provide clinical leadership in a fast-paced ambulatory care environment while contributing to high-quality patient outcomes across medical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage nursing staff in ambulatory and medical care settings
- Ensure delivery of evidence-based nursing care and clinical excellence
- Develop and implement clinical governance standards and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care pathways
- Supervise staff development, mentoring, and professional growth opportunities
- Monitor clinical indicators and drive continuous service improvement
- Manage resource allocation and operational efficiency within the department
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Minimum 5 years post-registration nursing experience with demonstrable clinical expertise
- Previous experience in ambulatory care, medical nursing, or acute healthcare settings
- Proven leadership and management experience in healthcare environments
- Post-graduate qualification in nursing management, leadership, or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or related discipline
- Experience in quality improvement methodologies and clinical audit processes
- Knowledge of HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated experience in staff supervision, development, and performance management
