As a regional centre for specialist services in Ophthalmology and ENT, SUH is also a key teaching site for NUI Galway, offering clinical rotations for medical students.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager II to join our Coronary Care Unit (CCU) team at Sligo University Hospital. This is a specified purpose, whole-time position.

The CNM2 plays a pivotal role in coordinating, managing, and planning clinical services. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring high standards of clinical care and quality assurance
• Managing staffing levels and promoting professional development
• Overseeing practice development and efficient use of resources
• Providing clinical leadership and facilitating effective communication

This position may require flexibility to work across different service areas within the vicinity as operational needs arise.
