About the Role

The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager II to oversee clinical nursing practice within the Endoscopy Unit at Sligo University Hospital. This role is open to both HSE and non‑HSE applicants and offers a collaborative, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day operations of the Endoscopy Unit
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff
• Ensure high-quality patient‑centred care and adherence to best nursing practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Participate in clinical audits, quality assurance, and service improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements

• Registered Nurse with An Bord Altranais / Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of post‑registration nursing experience within an Endoscopy setting
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational ability

Grade & Pay

• Grade: 2119 Clinical Nurse Manager 2
• Salary & benefits: In line with HSE pay scales and terms
