About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Manager II, you’ll oversee care delivery across community-based and residential settings, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest clinical standards for adults with intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage nursing teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.
- Oversee clinical operations in community and residential units.
- Implement person-centred care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Monitor and manage resources, including staffing and budgets.
- Promote a positive work environment and support staff development.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and professional standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and service development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse (Intellectual Disability) with the NMBI.
- Significant experience providing services to adults in community/residential settings.
- Demonstrated experience managing resources and staff.
- Proven ability to work effectively in areas involving behaviours of concern.
Preferred
- Postgraduate qualification in management or leadership.
- Experience in quality improvement and clinical governance.
What We Offer
- Salary: €61,463–€77,666 per annum (as per August 2025 HSE Consolidated Pay Scales, Grade Code 2119).
