✅ Key Responsibilities (as per job specification)
- Provide specialist nursing care, clinical assessment, and support to patients with multiple sclerosis within the Neurology service.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, deliver, and evaluate individualized care.
- Act as a primary point of contact for patients, families, and carers.
- Participate in service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide education to patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
🎯 Essential Requirements (based on standard CNS criteria)
- Registered General Nurse with current NMBI registration.
- Post‑registration qualification in Neurology, CNS level 8 or equivalent.
- Significant clinical experience in neurology, with particular knowledge of multiple sclerosis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
