Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist respiratory nursing care within integrated community healthcare services

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse qualification with relevant Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland registration
  • Significant nursing experience in Respiratory Care relevant to the role
  • Demonstrated depth and breadth of respiratory nursing expertise
  • Spirometry accredited training such as the Irish Association of Respiratory Physiologists (IARS) CPD Certificate in Spirometry for Healthcare Professionals or equivalent
  • Candidates without current spirometry accreditation must commit to completing the IARS programme following appointment
  • Strong communication, patient assessment, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
  • Experience within community, integrated care, or chronic disease management services is desirable

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Salary will be aligned with the Clinical Nurse Specialist (Community/Primary Care) Grade 2628 pay scale under HSE terms and conditions.
