Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist respiratory nursing care within integrated community healthcare services
- Support chronic disease management programmes for respiratory patients
- Conduct respiratory assessments and clinical evaluations
- Deliver patient education and self-management support initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across primary and community care services
- Promote evidence-based respiratory care practices and clinical standards

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification with relevant Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland registration
- Significant nursing experience in Respiratory Care relevant to the role
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of respiratory nursing expertise
- Spirometry accredited training such as the Irish Association of Respiratory Physiologists (IARS) CPD Certificate in Spirometry for Healthcare Professionals or equivalent
- Candidates without current spirometry accreditation must commit to completing the IARS programme following appointment
- Strong communication, patient assessment, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
- Experience within community, integrated care, or chronic disease management services is desirable

Salary will be aligned with the Clinical Nurse Specialist (Community/Primary Care) Grade 2628 pay scale under HSE terms and conditions.
