Job Overview
The HSE West and North West region currently has 2 permanent whole-time and 2 part-time vacancies available at Áras Mhic Dara Community Nursing Unit, Carraroe, Co Galway. The role falls under the General Support category and plays an important role in ensuring high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and resident comfort within the facility.
Working within Older People Services, the successful candidates will support the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit while helping create a safe and respectful environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the nursing unit
- Support infection prevention and control procedures
- Assist with housekeeping and domestic duties as required
- Ensure resident areas remain clean, safe, and comfortable
- Work collaboratively with nursing and support staff

Required Skills & Qualifications

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary is aligned with the HSE Domestic 4110 pay scale. This is a permanent position with both whole-time and part-time opportunities available.
