An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Candidate) specialising in Adult Mental Health Eating Disorders within Kilkenny Mental Health Services. This permanent, whole-time role supports high-quality, recovery-focused care across multidisciplinary services in the Dublin & South East region.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced clinical nursing care to adults with eating disorders
• Undertake comprehensive assessments, diagnosis support, and care planning
• Work autonomously within agreed scope of practice and clinical governance
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary mental health teams
• Contribute to service development, audit, and evidence-based practice
• Support education, supervision, and clinical leadership within the service
• Promote recovery-oriented, person-centred care pathways

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Mental Health)
• Extensive experience in adult mental health services, including eating disorders
• Eligibility for, or participation in, Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Candidate) pathway
• Demonstrated advanced clinical decision-making and leadership skills
• Excellent communication, assessment, and care coordination abilities

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

• Salary Scale: Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Candidate (Mental Health) €70,725 – €79,872 (1 August 2025 scale)
• Permanent whole-time contract
• Public service pension and incremental salary progression
