Job Overview
Naas General Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) to lead nursing care within the Respiratory Medical Ward. Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and managerial leadership within the respiratory ward
- Ensure high standards of patient care and safety are consistently maintained
- Supervise, support, and mentor nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care and manage ward resources effectively
- Implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits
- Support staff development, training, and performance management
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Significant post-registration nursing experience
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in acute respiratory care
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €57,208 – €67,372 per annum
