Job Overview
The role of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Dublin at Connolly Hospital is a pivotal leadership position within Woodlands Ward. Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and professional leadership within Woodlands Ward.
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day clinical operations and patient flow.
- Ensure effective allocation and management of staffing and ward resources.
- Promote and maintain high standards of nursing care and patient safety.
- Support service planning, quality improvement initiatives and audit processes.
- Lead, supervise and develop nursing staff to ensure continuous professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient-centred care.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registration as a Nurse on the active register maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Minimum required clinical experience consistent with Clinical Nurse Manager 2 grade criteria.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
- Strong organisational, communication and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in service planning and resource management within a clinical environment.
