Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and manage nursing services within the palliative care setting
- Ensure delivery of high standards of patient-centred care
- Supervise, support, and develop nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams
- Implement and monitor clinical policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Manage resources effectively, including staffing and budgets
- Participate in audit, quality improvement, and risk management initiatives
- Support education, training, and professional development within the team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with active registration on the NMBI register
- Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, including management experience
- Demonstrated leadership and organisational skills
- Experience in palliative care or a related specialist area is desirable
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making abilities
- Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €62,078 – €78,443 (based on experience and point on scale)
Permanent Wholetime position
