The Health Service Executive invites applications for a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (CNM3) role within the Children with Complex Health Needs (CCHN) Service. This senior nursing position focuses on case management and coordination of paediatric homecare packages across Donegal and Cavan/Monaghan, supporting children and families with complex clinical needs in the community.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the delivery of the CCHN service at local level
• Act as Case Manager for children with complex health needs and paediatric homecare packages
• Coordinate multidisciplinary input across acute, community, and voluntary services
• Ensure safe, high-quality, family-centred care in line with national policy
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to nursing staff
• Monitor service performance, governance, and risk management
• Contribute to service planning, development, and quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Children’s Nurse or General Nurse on the NMBI register
• Minimum required post-registration experience relevant to paediatrics/community care
• Management or leadership experience at an appropriate level
• Demonstrated experience in complex care coordination or case management
• Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade: Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (233X)
• Salary Scale: €70,725 – €79,872 per annum (HSE consolidated pay scales effective 1 August 2025)
• Contract: Permanent Whole-Time
