This Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (Mental Health) opportunity offers a senior leadership role within mental health services in Kilkenny. Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional and clinical leadership within the designated mental health service area
- Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and staff development initiatives
- Ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care delivery
- Promote effective communication across multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Lead service improvement and quality assurance initiatives
- Manage resources efficiently, including budgets and staffing levels
- Support policy implementation and compliance with national standards
- Contribute to strategic planning and service development
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse with active registration on the NMBI register
- Significant post-registration experience in mental health nursing
- Proven leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive service improvements
- In-depth knowledge of mental health policies and best practices
- Relevant management or leadership qualification (desirable)

Salary scale: €71,432 – €80,671 per annum (aligned with HSE pay scales).
