The Health Service Executive (HSE) Dublin and North East region is seeking an experienced and dynamic Community Healthcare Network Manager to join our Primary Care Services team in Louth. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to lead and develop integrated community healthcare services.

About the Role

The Community Healthcare Network Manager will provide strategic operational leadership for primary care services across the Louth community healthcare network. This senior management position involves overseeing staff, managing budgets, and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality, person-centered healthcare services. You will play a crucial role in implementing change initiatives and driving service improvements across the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the operational delivery of community healthcare services across the Louth network
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for primary care service development and implementation
  • Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams across various healthcare disciplines
  • Oversee budget management and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders including healthcare professionals, community organizations, and service users
  • Drive change management initiatives and implement service improvements aligned with HSE strategic objectives
  • Monitor service performance and implement quality improvement measures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, HSE policies, and quality standards

Required Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Significant operational management experience in the health service with proven track record of managing staff and budgets
  • Demonstrated experience managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders including different health professionals
  • Proven experience in implementing change management initiatives within healthcare settings
  • Access to appropriate transport to fulfill the requirements of the role
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant postgraduate qualification in healthcare management, public administration, or related field
  • Experience working within community healthcare or primary care settings
  • Knowledge of HSE structures, policies, and operational frameworks
  • Track record of successful service development and quality improvement initiatives
