Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is currently recruiting for a Community Manager to join their team in Ennis, Co. Clare. This is a permanent, wholetime opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage social care services within the Mid West region.
This Section 38 position is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants, offering a chance to make a significant impact within a publicly funded organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Salary Scale
- Salary: €68,073 – €77,893 (As per August 2025 Consolidated Pay Scales).
- The role is aligned with the Social Care Manager 3 grade (Code 3373).
- Starting salary is typically at the minimum of the scale for new entrants to the public sector.
Role Overview
- The Community Manager will be responsible for the effective delivery and oversight of community services in the Ennis area.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality support. • Ensure compliance with national standards and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a person-centered culture that promotes independence and community integration. • Manage resources, budgets, and operational performance within the service area.
Requirements
- Applicants must meet the professional and management criteria for the Social Care Manager 3 grade.
- Relevant qualification in Social Care or a related Health and Social Care Professional field.
- Proven management experience within a social care or disability service environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Full driving license is essential for community-based travel.
