Job Overview
The Dietitian Staff Grade HSE Dublin and South East opportunity offers a permanent wholetime position within the Health and Social Care Professionals category. This role supports the delivery of high-quality nutrition and dietetic services across the HSE Dublin and South East region, contributing to patient-centred care and improved health outcomes.
This position is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and provides an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment across a diverse regional network.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dietetic assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning for patients.
- Deliver evidence-based nutrition advice in line with national clinical guidelines.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support integrated patient care.
- Develop and implement individualised nutritional care plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with HSE policies.
- Participate in audit, service evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support health promotion and patient education programmes.
- Contribute to service development within the HSE Dublin and South East region.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Dietetics.
- Registration with CORU (or eligibility for registration).
- Demonstrated clinical competence in dietetic practice.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.

- Salary aligned with the February 2026 HSE consolidated pay scales for Grade 3389 (Dietitian Staff Grade), in accordance with public sector pay policy.
