Job Overview
Corlann South is seeking dedicated and compassionate professionals for Disability Support Worker Jobs Cork. This permanent wholetime opportunity offers 78 hours per fortnight supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities across Cork City and West Cork.
As a Disability Support Worker / Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity and inclusion for service users within community-based settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support in line with individual support plans
- Assist service users with daily living activities including personal care
- Support community participation and social inclusion initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with organisational policy
- Promote a safe, respectful and empowering environment
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Healthcare, Social Care or equivalent
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to person-centred values and inclusion
- Full driving licence may be required depending on location
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Permanent Wholetime – 78 hours per fortnight
- Salary aligned to Care Assistant (Disability Services) Grade 6482 pay scale
