Key Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across wards, departments, and public areas.
Follow infection prevention and control guidelines at all times.
Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and in line with hospital procedures.
Dispose of waste and clinical materials in accordance with HSE policies.
Report maintenance or safety concerns to the relevant supervisor.
Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure a safe care environment.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hospital protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Previous cleaning or domestic experience, preferably in a healthcare setting (desirable).
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong awareness of hygiene and infection control standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work required shifts as per service needs.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Grade: Domestic 4110 (HSE Pay Scale).
Salary aligned with the August 2025 Consolidated Pay Scales in accordance with public sector agreements.
Permanent Wholetime contract.
