Job Overview

Autism Initiatives Ireland is seeking a dedicated Facilitator Disability (Community Access Facilitator) to join their team in Wicklow Town. This rewarding part-time role focuses on delivering person-centred support to individuals with complex needs, helping them engage meaningfully in their communities and achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs and goals
  • Assist individuals in accessing community activities and services
  • Develop and implement Person Centred Plans and support programmes
  • Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion at all times
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with organisational policies
  • Support individuals with daily living activities where required

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • QQI Level 5 qualification in Health Care, Community Care, or a related field (essential)
  • Strong commitment to person-centred care and support
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative
  • Understanding of Key Worker/Support Worker roles and best practices
  • Experience in programme planning and delivering person-centred plans
  • Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full, clean driver’s licence (desirable)

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Salary Scale: €50,945 – €53,614 (pro rata)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week (Permanent Part-time)
