Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality general dental care within HSE dental clinics
• Deliver preventive, restorative, and emergency dental treatment
• Support oral health promotion initiatives in local communities
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to HSE care standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Participate in service development and quality improvement activities
• Travel between clinic sites as required (appropriate transport essential)
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Recognised qualification in Dentistry
• Full registration with the Dental Council of Ireland
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in dental services (public or private)
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centred care
• Access to suitable transport for fulfilling travel requirements
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary (Grade: General Dental Surgeon – Code 1597)
• €74,080–€107,389 per annum, with Long Service Increments (LSIs) available
