This Grade IV Assistant Staff Officer role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to leadership and capability development within National Human Resources. Based in Dublin, the position supports key administrative and operational functions that underpin workforce development across the organisation. This is a dynamic role suited to candidates who are organised, proactive, and interested in supporting strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Leadership and Capability team
- Coordinate meetings, events, and training activities
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Support project work and HR initiatives as required
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous administrative or clerical experience, ideally in a HR or public sector setting
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €36,109 – €55,463 (based on experience and incremental progression)
Multiple contract types available including Permanent Whole-time, Permanent Part-time, Specified Purpose Whole-time and Part-time roles.
