Kilcreene Regional Orthopaedic Hospital, part of HSE Dublin and South East, is recruiting a Grade V Support & Admin Manager. This permanent wholetime post offers an excellent opportunity for experienced administrators within the public health sector.
About the Role
As Support & Admin Manager (Grade V 0566), you will provide leadership and coordination of administrative services within the hospital, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and the highest standards of service delivery. The role is based in Kilcreene, Co. Kilkenny, with scope for both permanent and specified purpose vacancies through panel creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise administrative staff, ensuring efficient workflows
- Oversee hospital support services, maintaining compliance with HSE standards
- Manage records, reporting, and documentation in line with health regulations
- Support the Orthopaedic Business Manager with operational planning
- Coordinate internal communications and staff development initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement and patient-focused service delivery
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Current employment with the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies (per WRC Agreement 161867)
- Proven administrative and management experience in a healthcare or public service setting
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
- Experience in hospital or orthopaedic administration
- Knowledge of HSE governance, HR, and finance systems
