The Grade VI Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer (NRS15129) role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Finance Shared Services within the HSE. These positions focus on delivering high-quality business intelligence solutions that support financial reporting, analytics, and strategic decision-making.

Two specified purpose whole-time contracts (36 months) are available in Kilkenny or Swords, with blended working arrangements in line with HSE policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions to support Finance Shared Services.
  • Analyse financial and operational datasets to generate accurate reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, validation and compliance with HSE governance standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within Business Support Services.
  • Provide technical expertise in BI tools, databases and reporting systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Eligibility restricted to current employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies (WRC Agreement 161867).
  • Relevant third-level qualification in IT, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in business intelligence, reporting or data analysis roles.
  • Strong knowledge of database management, data modelling and reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
