This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key role in health promotion and improvement within HSE Mid West. As a Grade VI Health Promotion and Improvement Officer, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives that enhance public health outcomes across the region. Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of health promotion and improvement programmes
- Coordinate projects aligned with national and regional public health strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive health initiatives
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on programme effectiveness and outcomes
- Provide administrative and operational support for health campaigns
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and governance standards
- Assist in developing resources and materials to support health promotion activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant third-level qualification in health promotion, public health, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in a similar administrative or programme support role
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in IT systems and data management
- Knowledge of HSE structures and public health frameworks is desirable
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale: €57,898 – €70,734 (including applicable Long Service Increments)
Permanent Wholetime position
