The Instructor Supervisor (Workshop Supervisor / Instructor 6425) role in South Connemara, Galway offers an opportunity to support patient and client care services within a publicly funded organisation. This permanent part-time position is ideal for candidates passionate about delivering structured workshop activities and supporting service users in achieving meaningful outcomes.
This opportunity is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants. Please note, this role is advertised by the HSE on behalf of a Section 38 organisation and is not a direct HSE contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and supervise workshop-based activities for service users.
- Support individuals in developing practical, vocational and life skills.
- Ensure a safe, structured and supportive working environment.
- Monitor and document participant progress in line with organisational standards.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to meet service objectives.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety and safeguarding policies.
- Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualification suitable for Workshop Supervisor / Instructor grade (6425).
- Experience working in patient, client care or community-based services.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise and motivate individuals in a workshop setting.
- Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety standards.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
