The Instructor Supervisor (Workshop Supervisor / Instructor 6425) role in South Connemara, Galway offers an opportunity to support patient and client care services within a publicly funded organisation. This permanent part-time position is ideal for candidates passionate about delivering structured workshop activities and supporting service users in achieving meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organise and supervise workshop-based activities for service users.
Support individuals in developing practical, vocational and life skills.
Ensure a safe, structured and supportive working environment.
Monitor and document participant progress in line with organisational standards.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to meet service objectives.
Maintain compliance with health, safety and safeguarding policies.
Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Relevant qualification suitable for Workshop Supervisor / Instructor grade (6425).
Experience working in patient, client care or community-based services.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to supervise and motivate individuals in a workshop setting.
Understanding of safeguarding, health and safety standards.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Grade: Workshop Supervisor / Instructor 6425.
Contract Type: Permanent Part-Time.
Salary: In line with Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (1 August 2025) and public sector pay policy :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}.
