Join UPMC Ireland, part of a leading multinational academic medical centre, as an IT Contract/Vendor Management Specialist. This is a permanent opportunity based in Swift Square, Dublin, within a dynamic procurement and IT governance function driving excellence in vendor and contract performance management.

About the Role

As the IT Contract/Vendor Management Specialist, you’ll play a key role in overseeing supplier agreements, ensuring compliance, optimising procurement strategies, and maintaining effective vendor relationships to support UPMC’s operational and digital goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements and evaluate potential suppliers.
  • Lead colleagues through the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring efficient stakeholder engagement.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate vendor and supplier contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards.
  • Maintain an accurate contract database, tracking renewals and expirations.
  • Develop vendor management processes to monitor and assess supplier performance.
  • Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on procurement activities and vendor performance.

Required Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in contract management, vendor relations, or procurement.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Eligibility to work in the EU/EEA.

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare, technology procurement, or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with public or private sector compliance frameworks.
