We are currently seeking a dedicated Multi Task Attendant to join our Mental Health Services team in Cavan Monaghan, providing essential support within our community healthcare setting.
About the Role
This is a permanent full-time position based in Cavan and Monaghan, working as part of the Mental Health Services team within Community Healthcare. As a Multi Task Attendant, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for service users and staff. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals accessing mental health services in your local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general support services across Mental Health Services facilities in Cavan Monaghan
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the service areas
- Assist with patient care activities under the supervision of nursing and healthcare staff
- Support the safe and efficient operation of the mental health services unit
- Perform various tasks including cleaning, porterage, and general maintenance duties
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control procedures
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support service delivery
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a healthcare, cleaning, or support services role is desirable
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and lifting where required
- Willingness to undertake training in relevant areas
- Understanding of and commitment to patient-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in mental health or community healthcare settings
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures in healthcare environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the service
