Job Overview
Corlann is seeking a dedicated and experienced Person in Charge to lead residential services in Kilrush, County Clare. This leadership role is central to ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for individuals accessing services, while maintaining strong governance, compliance, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and operational management of residential services
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with regulatory standards
- Oversee staff supervision, performance management, and development
- Maintain compliance with HIQA standards and organisational policies
- Manage budgets, resources, and service planning effectively
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for service users and staff
- Engage with families, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
- Drive continuous improvement and service development initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Social Care, Nursing, or a related field
- Eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional body where applicable
- Significant experience in a supervisory or management role within social care
- Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Proven ability to manage teams and complex service environments
- Full clean driving licence desirable
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €56,915 – €66,465 per annum (aligned with Social Care Manager 1 scale)
Working Hours: Full-time, permanent position
