Key Responsibilities
- Perform venepuncture procedures safely and efficiently across a range of patient groups
- Ensure correct patient identification and sample labelling at all times
- Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control
- Prepare and handle blood samples for laboratory analysis
- Provide reassurance and clear communication to patients during procedures
- Work collaboratively with laboratory and clinical staff
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Adhere to all HSE policies, procedures, and quality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the area of phlebotomy
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of phlebotomy practice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Flexibility and adaptability in a clinical environment
- Relevant healthcare qualification (desirable)
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale:
- €38,288 – €50,502 (LSI applicable)

Working Hours: Permanent Wholetime position based on standard HSE working arrangements.
