The Recruitment Manager Grade VI will play a pivotal leadership role within the HR Department of the Donegal Integrated Health Area. This 12-month specified purpose whole-time position is based in Stranorlar, Co. Donegal, and is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead and manage recruitment services in a large public healthcare setting, ensuring high standards of compliance, efficiency and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage recruitment and selection processes across the Donegal Integrated Health Area
• Ensure compliance with public sector recruitment policies and HSE guidelines
• Provide expert HR advice to hiring managers and senior leadership
• Oversee workforce planning and campaign management
• Monitor recruitment timelines and ensure timely appointment of staff
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting systems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within HR services
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant third-level qualification in HR, Business, Management or related field
• Significant experience in recruitment, HR operations or workforce planning
• Strong knowledge of public sector recruitment processes (desirable)
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• High level of attention to detail and compliance awareness
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lead teams and manage competing priorities
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary: In line with HSE Grade VI (0574) pay scale under the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (1 August 2025)
Contract Type: Specified Purpose Wholetime (12 months)
