Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Dietitian to join Children’s Disability Network Teams across the Dublin and Midlands region. This role offers the chance to deliver specialist paediatric dietetic services to children with complex needs, supporting their development and wellbeing within a multidisciplinary team environment. These permanent positions provide both part-time and full-time opportunities across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist paediatric dietetic assessment and intervention for children with disabilities
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary Children’s Disability Network Team
- Develop and implement individualised nutrition care plans
- Support families and caregivers with dietary guidance and education
- Participate in case conferences and clinical reviews
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HSE standards
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Dietetics and registration with CORU
- Significant experience in paediatric dietetics
- Demonstrated expertise relevant to Children’s Disability Network Teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Full driving licence and access to transport
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale: €64,551 – €76,007 (dependent on experience and point on scale)
Working hours:
• 0.7 WTE (24.5 hours per week)
• 1 WTE (35 hours per week)
