The Central Remedial Clinic is seeking experienced and passionate Senior Occupational Therapists to join its Children’s Disability Network Teams across Dublin. This permanent opportunity offers the chance to work within progressive, family-centred disability services supporting children and young people aged 0–18 years with complex developmental needs.

Job Overview

The CRC Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) deliver specialist interdisciplinary supports for children with complex developmental needs across Dublin. Successful candidates will work within a dynamic team environment focused on collaboration, family-centred practice, and continuous improvement.

The organisation is currently undergoing an ambitious transformation programme in partnership with the Virginia Mason Institute, supporting the implementation of lean healthcare practices and enhanced service delivery models. This role offers the opportunity to help shape the future of children’s disability services while making a meaningful difference to children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for children with complex developmental needs
  • Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary Children’s Disability Network Teams
  • Support family-centred practice approaches aligned with Progressing Disability Services
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy programmes for children and families
  • Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Complete clinical documentation and maintain professional standards
  • Participate in Assessment of Need processes where required
  • Promote effective communication and partnership with families, schools, and healthcare professionals

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Recognised Occupational Therapist qualification
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with CORU as an Occupational Therapist
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification clinical experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience working with children with disabilities
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Full driving licence and access to a car is desirable
  • Commitment to person-centred and family-centred care

Desirable experience includes working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and experience completing Assessment of Need processes.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Salary is aligned with the Department of Health Senior Occupational Therapist Grade 3301 salary scale ranging from €64,551 to €76,007 per annum.
