Bantry General Hospital is seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist (Grade 3158) to join its multidisciplinary team in Cork. This permanent wholetime opportunity offers the chance to lead and deliver high-quality physiotherapy services within a dynamic acute hospital environment.
This Senior Physiotherapist Bantry role is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and plays a key part in supporting patient recovery, rehabilitation, and service development within HSE South West.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients in an acute hospital setting
- Lead, supervise and support junior physiotherapy staff and students
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HSE policies
- Contribute to service development, audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy eligible for CORU registration
- Current registration with CORU as a Physiotherapist
- Significant post-qualification clinical experience
- Demonstrated experience in an acute hospital environment
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
