Wexford General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiographer MRI to join its Radiology Department on a permanent wholetime basis. This Senior Radiographer MRI Wexford opportunity offers the chance to deliver high-quality, patient-focused imaging services within a busy acute hospital environment.

The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy and General Radiography services while supporting the daily operational management of the department in line with HSE standards and clinical governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a quality patient-focused MRI and radiographic service in a caring and professional manner.
Perform MRI examinations in line with departmental protocols and established operating procedures.
Undertake General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, CT and specialised imaging examinations to a high technical standard.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and best practice guidelines.
Assist in the daily operational management and organisation of the Radiology Department.
Maintain accurate imaging records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to junior radiographers and students as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Registration as a Radiographer with CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council).
Significant postgraduate experience in MRI imaging.
Demonstrated competence in CT, Fluoroscopy and General Radiography.
Strong knowledge of radiation protection and patient safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
