An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist to join the multidisciplinary team at St. Luke’s General Hospital. This permanent whole-time role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred Speech and Language Therapy services across designated clinical areas, supporting patients to achieve optimal communication and swallowing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for patients requiring Speech and Language Therapy
• Deliver evidence-based, person-centred care within assigned clinical areas
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports in line with HSE policies
• Support health promotion, education, and service development initiatives
• Engage in supervision, audit, and continuous professional development
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and organisational standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Qualification in Speech and Language Therapy recognised by CORU
• Registration (or eligibility for registration) with CORU
• Demonstrated clinical competence at Staff Grade level
• Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to person-centred care and evidence-based practice
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
